Areas: Fort Myers

CAM general manager to oversee the association affairs and manage the rental business for a Fort Myers Beach condominium. Will be primarily responsible for all aspects of the rental operations, including managing staff, advertising, profit/loss, website management, reservation systems management, office scheduling, manage rental cleaning program, front desk back up support and owner communications. Should have experience in the vacation rental business and the laws governing condominium associations in Florida.

Requirements:

* High school diploma required. Additional Bachelor’s, hospitality or business classes a plus.

* Rental management experience preferred.

* At least 5 years of experience in related management.

* Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.

* Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities.

* Ability to work well as the site leader.

* Ability to problem solve.

* Strong customer service abilities.

* Actively look for ways to assist customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, develop and direct daily operations.

* Forecast and report sales, labor and profit to ensure compliance with established budget.

* Schedule, supervise and participate in the operational duties specific to the rental operations.

* Report to the board and attend board meetings.

* Ensure board requests are fulfilled in compliance with the association’s documents and procedures.

* Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with owners and vacation guests.

* Recruit, supervise, train, schedule, discipline and performance reviews of the staff.

* Maintain accounting records, daily reporting requirements and cash control. Manage profit and loss statements, collect fees.

* Respond to vacationer inquiries and help resolve owner issues.

* Maintain and ensure safe facility environment, including standards for maintenance and upkeep of the community, housekeeping, sanitation, dress codes and employee morale.

* Notify the board of all unusual events, circumstances or other safety or quality control issues.

* Act as the board’s point of contact with the owners and vacationers. Represent the board in a in a professional and positive manner at all times.

* Maintain the association's image when interacting with vacation guests, owners and vendors.

Salary is based on experience and year end merit bonuses are possible. Job #12527
