Areas: Jensen Beach

Community association manager for a 500+ unit homeowners association in the Hobe Sound area. Must have at least 5 years of community association management experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and being a team player are prerequisites for the position. Will provide oversight of the association to enhance the value and quality of the community. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work week may also include attendance at board meetings and the annual meeting.

Requirements:

* Professional image.

* Excellent management, supervisory and communication skills required to deal effectively with the board and residents.

* Strong customer service orientation.

* Strong organizational and administrative abilities.

* Sufficient computer skills: TOPS, Word, Excel, Outlook and internet.

* Strong business understanding and familiarity with association financial statements.

* Knowledge of onsite maintenance requirements, including dealing with vendors and contractors on behalf of the association.

* Ability to motivate and work effectively with people.

Responsibilities:

* Operate the association in a cost effective manner to meet association goals.

* Solicit bids for contracts and large improvements. Prepare an Excel spreadsheet of results for review.

* Attend staff meetings, including discussing current issues and problems.

* Read and become knowledgeable with the association's documents, rules and regulations and frequently asked questions.

* Execute and handle priorities, including positive relations and timely resolution of resident problems.

* Supervise maintenance functions and projects, ensuring safe and timely completion. Ensure that grounds and common area buildings are fully operational, safe, clean and attractive.

* Review monthly financial data, write monthly narrative report, prepare monthly board packets.

* Detect and monitor potential liability risks and follow safety procedures. Follow established procedures in handling property loss, general liability claims and onsite injuries.

* Solicit annual renewals of insurance policies.

* Responsible for after hours emergency calls.
