Areas: Fort Lauderdale

Community association manager for a condominium in Fort Lauderdale, immediate opening. Hands on leadership position, responsible for management and administrative, serving as the principal adviser to the community association. Will be responsible for all matters of operations, budget and fiscal responsibility and implementation on behalf of the association. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.


* Associate Degree (BA preferred), budget, accounting, maintenance.

* Experience as a CAM or assistant manager in a condominium.

* Strong people skills, with board of directors, residents, staff, contractors and vendors.

* Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, including governing documents and Knowledgeable of Florida statutes as they relate to association laws.

* Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.

* Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

* Required to operate a computer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, calculator, telephone, cell phone, fax machine, copy machine and scanner.

* Extended hours including night time meetings.

* Must be flexible, available for emergencies.

* Bilingual English/Spanish would be a big plus.

* Subject to background check and drug screening


* Project management, plan, schedules and coordinate general maintenance and major repairs of the association.

* Establish objectives and associated goals for various programs to achieve the most effective and efficient operation possible.

* Maintain a professional relationship with the board and owners.

* Prepare the annual budget and coordinate board meetings.

* Administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing and QuickBooks.

* Coordinate security and maintenance vendor services and personnel. Job #12455
