Areas: Panhandle

Director of Finance for an association in Miramar Beach, CAM license not required. This is a senior management position responsible for the oversight of an operating budget in excess of $8 million and assets that exceed $13 million. It is preferred that the desirable candidate have a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a leadership role with an emphasis on nonprofit organization or homeowners association accounting. An accounting degree is required and CPA experience preferred. Personnel supervision experience is required. Excellent communication, presentation, public speaking and human relation skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

* Creating annual budgets

* Monthly forecasting and financial statement analysis

* The ability to present a clear and concise monthly financial statement to the board and biannual financial report to the membership

* Oversight of all accounting processes and the financial integrity of the association

* Communicating with all interested parties including board of directors concerning the financial position of the association

* Identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the affairs of the association and of the financial industry

* Supervision of department staff and cultivating a positive work environment

* The ability to hire, train, coach and lead in a fast paced team environment
