Accountant for a management company in the Osprey area, CAM license not required, immediate opening. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management and be serious, driven and highly motivated. Will manage several community associations and work directly with the boards of directors.

Essential Skills:

* Accounting degree or equivalent preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing advice. (May be used in lieu of education.)

* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and auditing principles.

* Proficient working knowledge of Florida condominium and homeowners association statutes.

* Demonstrate the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.

* Proficient in creating budgets, as well as reading and understanding financial reports.

* Ability to multi task with accuracy.

* Effectively convey ideas, images and goals to a diverse group of personalities.

* Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.

* Competence in computer skills: TOPS, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Neat, clean and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and when present at the communities.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of community associations.

* Oversee the communities' finances and budgets.

* Responsible for ensuring positive owner and board member relations and complying with all accounting reporting requirements.

* Attend and conduct financial meetings.

* Demonstrate the ability to understand, create and explain budgets and financial statements.

* Maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit on timely basis.

* Demonstrate the ability to reconcile bank statements.

* Ensure current resident files are properly maintained.

* Process coupon books.
