Areas: Jacksonville

Onsite manager for a vacation resort community in the Jacksonville area. Will assist the board members and residents with association business duties such as community inspections, compliance vendor oversight, work orders and interfacing with customers by phone and in person to resolve their concerns. Customer service and problem solving skills are essential to this position. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and letter composition abilities are required. Must be a team player with outstanding communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

* Two to three years of association management experience.

* Thoroughly understand Chapter 718 and 720.

* Know how to read financial statements.

* Familiar with the construction and condition of the association's physical assets to identify repair needs.

* Demonstrate strong leadership skills.

* Well organized, able to prioritize.

* Good communication skills, written and verbal.

* Proactive, able to assess situations quickly and take appropriate action.

* Able to work independently, quickly and efficiently, as well as manage a heavy workload.

* Able to handle difficult situations tactfully.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and direct the community assistant and maintenance technicians.

* Coordinate with Accounting to develop budgets and timely financial reports.

* Attend board meetings, provide administrative support, prepare agendas, minutes and distribute board packages.

* Create a weekly management report to email to all board members on status of projects, violation activity, etc.

* Manage the annual meeting, mail voting proxies and ballots to owners.

* Obtain bids and proposals for board consideration.

* Educate board members on Florida law requirements, organization, conduct of meetings and corporate records to improve the board's effectiveness and efficiency.

* Timely response to owner phone calls, emails and communications.

* Resolve owner problems quickly.

* Inspect the community and arrange for corrective action.

* Proactively recommend repair needs of the associations physical assets.

* Supervise contractors and vendors.
