July 03, 2019 - Community Association Manager/Assistant Manager: $80,000

Areas: Jensen Beach

Community Association Manager/Assistant Manager for a community in Hobe Sound. Will be responsible for the day to day management of the association, including oversight of the marina operation, security and club facilities maintenance department. Must possess leadership skills and provide a structured and positive working environment utilizing a team building approach while ensuring the high standards and expectations of the residents are met. Will be required to work in a cooperative fashion with other departments, committees, residents and boards. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar community setting. Should have prior experience with budgeting, fiscal management, all aspects of community management and excellent communication and team development skills. Should possess good interpersonal skills, be team oriented and have an understanding of organizational structure. Should be able to think broadly and strategically as well as be able to multitask through the day to day decisions and needs of the community. Prior experience in food and beverage and hospitality is a plus. This position reports directly to the general manager.


* Oversight of all board and committee meetings and functions.

* Working with the Architectural Committee and residents on requests for modifications.

* Handling resident comments and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

* Preparing and managing annual capital and operating budgets.

* Regular review of financial statements and billing.

* Enforcement of community guidelines and policies.

* Management of the common areas of the community, including drains, roadways, boardwalks, lakes, gatehouses, community fences, common property, street lights, landscaping.

* Being involved in and aware of other aspects of the operation including food and beverage, special events, tournaments, major projects, etc.
