Assistant community association manager for a condominium in Longboat Key. Will assist and support the manager, management team, the board and community residents. Will ensure the community is maintained and operated in accordance with objectives and facilitate solutions to operational challenges, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or a related field from a 4 year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must possess a strong managerial background.
* Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations or documents.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
* Ability to talk on the phone for extended periods of time.
* Ability to detect auditory and visual emergency alarms.
* On call 24/7.
* Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends, based on project requirements.
* Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
* Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities:
* Acquire and maintain current knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and the community’s documents, policies and procedures.
* Perform annual community inspections.
* Coordinate insurance requirements and associated vendors.
* Post board meetings.
* Schedule meetings with vendors and board.
* Draft minutes production.
* Upload association documents to website.
* Handle all association account ledger inquires.
* Complete annual violation inspections and respond to reported concerns.
* Record checks received and deposit to the bank.
* Reconcile and pay taxes monthly.
* Set up all new vendors.
* Assist in preparation of monthly reports.
* Assist in the development of operating and capital budgets.
* Establish and maintain industry contacts and relationships through involvement in trade organizations, association management and real estate associations and networking opportunities with vendor outreach and peer groups.
* Create the culture needed to enhance, promote and execute daily positive interaction among members of the management team.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
