Maintenance supervisor for an association in the Lakewood Ranch area, CAM license not required. Will provide members, guests and team members with facilities and an environment which is in well maintained order, including the interior and exterior of the buildings.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role.
* Knowledge of principles, practices and methods of basic maintenance.
* Possess knowledge of operating electrical, plumbing, HVAC, clay tennis court maintenance and pool equipment.
* Knowledge of potential safety hazards and related safety precautions and compliance regulations.
* Knowledge of ground maintenance and equipment maintenance.
* Skill in the use of hand and power tools.
* Ability to perform routine and physical work.
* Two years of facility maintenance experience or equivalent experience in a private, member owned club.
* One year tennis court maintenance preferred.
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required.
* CPR, AED, first aid certifications.
* Will work indoors and outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and solvents.
* Must be in excellent physical condition to perform manual labor, such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting and grasping for extended periods of time and in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect facilities daily to determine repairs and maintenance.
* Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and work with vendors to ensure preventive maintenance agreements are in place and implemented according to the scope of work.
* Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
* Ensure that the facilities, tennis and pickleball courts and all amenity areas are maintained to standard. Inspect and maintain cleanliness, organization, safety and repair.
* Responsible for scrubbing, line and debris removal, cleaning, drying and general upkeep of clay courts, rolling and brushing of courts.
* Perform general repairs and maintenance for all areas, including electrical, mechanical and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
* Maintain cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior areas of facilities, including emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter and arranging outdoor furniture.
* Assist with contracted services, vendors and operation of mechanical and power equipment. Monitor restrooms, offices and storage rooms and perform maintenance procedures to ensure safe and sanitary conditions.
