Lifestyle director for an association in Parrish, CAM license not required. Must be a responsible, proactive, customer service minded individual to provide excellent service to the residents of this highly active resort lifestyle community. Will create, plan and implement community activities and events for the engagement of the community. Must possess superior customer service skills, creativity and at least 5 years of experience working in event planning or a related field, like hospitality and hotel management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Work closely with owners, suppliers, volunteer committee members and team members.
* Able to remain calm under pressure and be solutions oriented.
* Strong computer and social media skills are essential. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, website management, Constant Contact, Outlook, Microsoft Publisher. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as In Design and Photoshop a plus.
* Create marketing materials, including flyers, calendars and newsletters.
* Must be detail oriented, have superior documentation and organization skills.
* Create and organize themed events and activities at the clubhouse.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, to check in on early evening or weekend events.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with staff, committees and owners.
* Answer incoming calls, research and solve issues.
* Professional image.
* Perform other administrative functions as needed. Able to lift 25 pounds and walk the premises regularly.
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent, college degree in hotel or hospitality management preferred.
