Community association manager/General manager for a luxury condominium in Sunny Isles Beach. Will plan, direct, recommend and implement policies and procedures to ensure the services required to maintain the common elements of the association are provided in a first class manner. This is a hands on leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, financial, human resources, maintenance and security functions of the community. The position requires the community association manager be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency consultation in the event of incidents requiring management intervention. Must provide exemplary service while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills.

Requirements:

* Prior luxury hotel management experience required.

* 4 year degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* 2-3 years of luxury association management experience.

* Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

* Intermediate command of computer hardware/software is required; specifically, knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

* Background check and drug test.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise hiring and management of direct employees and selection and management of outside vendor staffing.

* Plan, direct and oversee implementation of comprehensive systems for protection of the community assets and records of the association in a professional manner.

* Inspect community and facilities to determine maintenance and security needs.

* Document, interview and assist residents regarding complaints.

* Assist in preparation of reports and insurance claims for damages to the association, including estimated cost of repair.

* Assist in preparation and posting of the agenda for meetings and supervises file and record management.

* Attend meetings.

* Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and review for accuracy.

* Provide a monthly management report with recommendations to enhance community appearance, values and promote harmony among residents.

* Provide a 1 page, weekly report to the board briefly summarizing major events.

* Maintain a professional relationship with the board and owners.

* Assist in establishing operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention, firefighting, traffic control and parking control.

* Assist in preparation of the annual budget and coordination of board meetings.

* Prepare recommendations for collection action on delinquent accounts.

* Must be able to perform violation inspections.

* Assist in monitoring compliance with rules and regulations and implement procedures for handling violations.

* Solicit bids for maintenance, construction and community projects.

* Participate in selection of contractors and vendors for maintenance services.

* Inspect the repair and maintenance of equipment and building components.

* Assist with hurricane preparation and implementation of preparedness protocol.

* Maintain the association’s website.
