May 28, 2026 - Community Association Manager: $80,000-$100,000

Areas: Jensen Beach

Community association manager for a peaceful, family friendly gated community in Palm City. The association team members include office, maintenance, irrigation, pressure washing and landscaping staff.

Will plan, direct, recommend and implement policies and procedures to ensure the common elements are well maintained and the community rules and regulations are adhered to.

This is a hands on leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, financial, human resources, maintenance and security functions of the community. Will be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency situations that require immediate management attention.

Requirements:

* Associates degree with a concentration in business preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* A minimum of 5 years of community association management experience, or more depending on the community, are required. Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

* Proficient knowledge and command of computer hardware and software is preferred, specifically Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.

* Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner, 24-7.

* Work will be divided between indoor and outdoor work. The proportion of indoor to outdoor work will fluctuate. May be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold or rain while working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise hiring and management of direct employees and oversee the selection and management of outside vendors to ensure personnel are meeting the community’s goals and high standards in a hospitable and courteous manner.

* Schedule and review staff assignments to assure adequate coverage while being conscious of working within the assigned budget.

* Work under direction of the board.

* Inspect community and facilities to determine maintenance and security needs, detect hazards and ensure that safety rules are posted and enforced.

* Document, interview and assist resident regarding complaints about employees or vendor staff conduct.

* Promptly investigate and report all accidents or claims for damage and personal injury relating to the ownership and maintenance of the common elements and operation of the association, including damage or destruction to common elements.

* Initiate contact with insurance providers regarding claims for damages. Determine estimated cost of repair and ensure repairs are completed.

* Assist in preparation and posting of the agenda for meetings of the association and committee meetings, supervise file and record management and attend meetings of the board and annual or special meetings.

* Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and review same for accuracy and variance trends.

* Prepare the annual budget in coordination with the treasurer.

* Provide a monthly management report to the board with recommendations, to enhance community appearance, values and general updates.

* Maintain a professional relationship with the board and owners, whose requests for services shall be received and recorded so that requests can be acted upon expeditiously. Any serious complaint shall be fully and promptly investigated and reported to the board.

* Coordinate with office manager, legal counsel and the board to ensure the collections policy is properly implemented.

* Act as liaison with legal counsel.

* Monitor compliance with the rules and regulations and perform violation inspections. Send notices to owners in violation and maintain accurate records to follow up on rule violations.

* Solicit bids for maintenance and community projects, including tree trimming and removal, landscape replacement, telephone service, pool maintenance, exterminator services, repairs or reconstruction of structural improvements and preventive maintenance.

* Supervise and monitor contractors and review invoices to confirm work completion and contract compliance.

* Review and approves payroll for all direct employees and review and code vendor invoices before payment.

* Oversee tracking of all architectural change requests by ensures ARC Committee performs final inspection upon completion.

* Communicate to the board and owners, events that will affect their use and enjoyment of the association’s facilities.

* Coordinate with the Hurricane Committee and staff to communicate hurricane preparation and implementation of preparedness protocol.

* Coordinate with office staff to maintain the association’s website.

* Ensure that team members follow all safety precautions and procedures while performing duties.
