Areas: Boca Raton Fort Lauderdale Miami Punta Gorda Fort Myers Naples

HOA/CDD Coordinator for associations in Southeast and Southwest Florida. Will play a critical role in supporting the successful establishment, administration and ongoing management of homeowners associations and community development districts within residential and mixed use developments. Will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitate communication and support the operational and financial health of the communities.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, real estate or related field preferred.

* 2+ years of experience in HOA/CDD management, association management or land development.

* Strong understanding of Florida statutes and governance practices.

* Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience working with developers during community build out phases.

* Familiarity with municipal and special district processes.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

* Conflict resolution and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

Governance and Compliance

* Assist in the formation and transition of homeowners associations and community development districts from developer control to resident control.

* Ensure compliance with state and local laws governing HOAs/CDDs, including public records, Sunshine Law and financial reporting.

* Maintain accurate records of board meetings, resolutions and governing documents.

Board and Resident Relations

* Oversee board meetings.

* Serve as a liaison between the developer, board members, residents, and third party management companies.

* Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Financial and Operational Oversight

* Support budgeting processes and monitor expenditures.

* Assist with vendor management, including contract administration and performance tracking.

* Monitor financial reporting, cash flow and deficit funding needs in coordination with accounting teams.

Development Coordination

* Collaborate with land development, construction and legal teams to ensure smooth integration of responsibilities into project timelines.

* Track infrastructure turnover, including roads, utilities and amenities. * Support the preparation and filing of required documents with local and state agencies. Job #13097
