Areas: Sarasota Bradenton

General manager for a large scale homeowners association in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a manager, food and beverage experience is required. Will be responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, financial, human resources, maintenance and security functions of the community. Will be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency consultation. Must provide exemplary service while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise hiring and management of employees and supervise selection and management of outside vendor staffing.

* Plan, direct and oversee implementation of comprehensive systems for protection of the community assets and records of the association in a professional manner.

* Inspect community to determine maintenance and security needs.

* Document, interview and assist residents regarding complaints.

* Assist in preparation of reports and insurance claims for damages, including estimated cost of repair.

* Assist in preparation and posting of the agenda for meetings.

* Attend meetings.

* Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports.

* Provide a monthly management report to the board with recommendations to enhance community appearance, values and promote harmony among residents.

* Assist in preparation of the annual budget.

* Must be able to monitor compliance with the rules and regulations and perform violation inspections.

* Solicit bids for maintenance, construction and projects. Participate in selection of contractors and vendors.

* Maintain the association’s website.
