Dear Lisa,

A year ago if you had told me that finding my successor would be a relatively easy process, I would have been doubtful. Retiring after 22 years in this position, I faced the challenge with much trepidation. The board of directors was equally concerned. I suggested that we contact your office to learn if qualified individuals were seeking an executive managerial job.

Your help in refining the search and submitting applications from only those with a specific field of qualifications and experience was most appreciated. In the end, the board selected Paula McClure to be the next executive director and I couldn't be more pleased.
