One of the most important parts of a manager's resume is the work history section. This section should begin with the current or most recent position and work chronologically backwards through previous positions. Each job listed should include the name of the association or company, the location, your title and the dates of employment, including the month and year. Duties, responsibilities, projects and accomplishments can be summarized for each position. It is not necessary to go all the way back to the first job you ever had, 15-20 years is usually sufficient. A brief explanation should be provided for large gaps of time in the work history.
