April 01, 2007 - Robert McFarlane Recently Accepted a Position With Promenade In Longboat Key!

Areas:

If you have applied for a community association manager position, and you haven't heard back from the association board, it doesn't necessarily mean the position has been filled. Just because they haven't called yet doesn’t mean they may not be interested in scheduling an interview. Boards of directors can be so busy with their jobs and association projects and activities that they delay contacting managers for a couple months after posting their job listing. It can be helpful to follow up with a phone call, letter or email after a couple weeks to indicate your continued interest in the position.

* Donald Kirkham is the new manager of Lowell House in Palm Beach.

* Sean Dyer has already begun his new job as manager of Marina at the Bluffs in Jupiter.

* The Bluffs of Christina in Lakeland hired Tom Rhodes to manage their association.

* Robert McFarlane recently accepted a position with Promenade in Longboat Key.
